Welcome! Our current line
of Crochet Patterns began with my mother, Nona “Granny” Strutton in 1987. During
her twelve years of designing and writing original crochet patterns for dolls,
she made friends the world over. She developed 121 designs for all sizes and
types of dolls. Her patterns went to every state in the US and in 11 foreign
countries. In 1999, Mother retired and the business was turned over to me.
Mother’s original designs have been revised and re-formatted into Pattern Books™
which contain several patterns. Our Pattern Books™ have full color pictures of
the garments and
the books are bound flat. The patterns are printed on non-glare paper for
reading ease. We strive to keep our patterns simple and uncomplicated. If you
can crochet a chain, a single crochet, a double crochet and a treble crochet
then you can make our patterns.
We lovingly dedicate our Pattern Books™ to Mother and Grandmother. Nona “Granny”
for her original designs and inspiration and Grandma Avonel who taught us not
only to appreciate handmade treasures but also how to crochet them.
My Mom
passed January 16, 2010.
She is
missed by her family, friends and all who were touched by her.
